The sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released on May 2, 2014. However, Feige wasn’t as enthused as the book details, “‘About halfway through the delicious sandwich that she had brought in, I said, ‘Amy, in all fairness, it’s not gonna work,’ shares Feige. The Amazing Spider-Man was originally reported as being the first of at least three films to the trilogy.
